We Care Dayton Starts Early

Tuesday night, during youth group time, the students of Grace Church of Lititz decided they needed to do something now. They told Doug Kegarise, their youth pastor that waiting until they got home just wasn’t soon enough, Dayton was right here so “let’s go”. So they did. Doug took 20 on Wednesday. 20 more on Thursday and 20 more are scheduled for Friday.

The group went to an organization called Soul Winners For Jesus in downtown Dayton. There they split into two groups. One group did manual labor projects around the facility while the other group went to a park in Dayton to share Christ. Then the groups switched so both could have the same experiences.

More groups of students are going to Dayton early to invest in the lives of people there. God is expanding We Care Dayton from a Saturday only ministry opportunity to a week-long event that will impact the lives of the people in Dayton for all eternity.
