The Ministry: GBIM is a mission organization associated with the Fellowship of Grace Brethren Churches. They are committed to biblical truth, authentic Christ-like relationships, and the mission of the church. In 2005 GBIM celebrated its 105th anniversary.

The Project:Youth Groups that choose to partner with GBIM will participate in compassion ministries to orphans at an orphanage in Ensenada and/or practical construction ministries to benefit a needy Mexican family. GBIM has church plants in this area of Mexico that will be involved.

The Costs: The cost for the trip is $100, which covers travel, meals, and lodging.

The Plan: If you want to sign your group up for the GBIM ministry teams, please contact us at CE National at 574.267.6622 or email us.

Other notes: Participants will be housed at the Rosa de Saron church in Ensenada and will need to bring along sleeping bags and pillows for sleeping on the floor or pews. For ministry, any candy and small toys to give to orphan children would be great to bring along, as well as games, music, and activities to engage the children with. Construction supplies will be provided on site. Modest clothing, especially for the girls, is required. Shorts for young people are acceptable but must be long, bermuda style shorts. No tank tops or low cut tops for the girls, as the Mexican culture is generally more conservative than that of the United States.

Groups also need to secure the proper travel documents for crossing the Mexico border.
