The Bible
The Bible is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, the source of truth for Christian faith and living.
God
There is one true God who exists eternally as three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Jesus Christ
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We believe in His virgin birth, His sinless life, His miracles, His vicarious and atoning death, His bodily resurrection, His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and His personal return in power and glory.
The Holy Spirit
The Holy Spirit, equal with the Father and the Son as God, dwells in every Christian from the moment of salvation and provides the Christian with power for living a godly life.
Salvation
All people are lost sinners and can only be saved from sin’s penalty of death by trusting in Jesus Christ as God’s offer of forgiveness. This salvation is complete and eternal, given by God’s grace alone.
The Church
The Church is composed of all true believers. Local churches are autonomous, meeting for worship and spiritual edification, but they cooperate in fellowship and work.
Christian Life
The Christian life should be characterized by good works, separation from evil, speaking the truth in love, and settling differences in a way that agrees with Scripture. The Christian life should exhibit the fruit of the Spirit and a habit of prayer. When a Christian is sick, he can call the elders of the church to pray for healing.
Symbols
Jesus gave believers ordinances to do. These symbols include baptism, being immersed following salvation in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit; and observing communion as taught in John 13.
Second Coming
Christ will return at any time to remove His Church from the earth before the world experiences a seven-year Tribulation. Following the Tribulation, Christ will come back to earth with the Church to establish His kingdom.
