Getting started

 

It's not too early to start planning for next year's conference.

• Pray about attending Momentum, seeking God’s will for your group.
• Make preliminary travel plans so you have an estimated travel cost per person.
• Plan a per person budget
• Come up with a fundraising plan to help your students cover some of the cost of Momentum. For ideas, see our list of good fundraisers.
• Present Momentum to your pastor, your youth, and their parents.
• Consider inviting another church in your area to attend Momentum with you. Request a promo packet to give to them.
• Register by May 1 to get the early registration rate. Registrants can either mail checks directly to CE National or pay online. When registering as a Youth Worker Contact, you will have the ability to view all your students’ accounts and check on the status of payments and forms.
• Think through how best to prepare your students spiritually for Momentum. Come up with a prayer plan for your group and encourage students to find an adult prayer partner, someone who will pray for them before, during, and after conference.
  
• Confirm transportation and travel plans.
  
• Pay registration balances by June 15.
  
• Hold a parent meeting for all your students and their parents to be sure everyone knows what's going on.
  
• Provide packing lists for students (will be available on this Web site).
